Oh my gosh! It seems that every single time I log on here, I'm telling you people some sob story about how busy I am..How the kids are doing great and everything is a-okay. I never go into detail or update anytime close to when I had!!! I am such a bad blogger. But I knew it would be this way since the day I started blogging!

Speaking of the beginning, it's that time of the year again! It's almost November and the winter holidays are approaching. Over in our household, I for sure know that the kids are getting so excited for trick-or-treating this weekend! Jessica is going as a princess, as usual, and Micah....I don't even know...Brad wants to take him shopping, but he won't have time to do that until tomorrow night (sigh haha). I'm also starting to remember back on all the happenings of the passed few years. November and December are both bittersweet months for me as a mommy. Since 3 years ago when I was pregnant with Jessica and then giving birth with her, and then the same with Micah the following year, these months have just made me both happy and sad. My happiness comes from seeing my beautiful children growing and knowing that I am teaching them all that I have and giving them all that I have to offer. I'm seeing them start as babies and molding them into people that I feel will do well in society. I love knowing that I'm an influence in their lives, and then seeing them go and do something so sweet and kind. When I see them, I know that I must be doing something right! On the downside, I get upset as well. I miss my kids being teensy tiny little babies! I can remember it like it was yesterday, bringing Jessica Brianne home from the hospital the day after Christmas. Heck, I even remember the experience of going into labor ON Christmas! She was so small, but such a booger for wanting to come out during a party, she's still like that today...doing anything possible to make trouble for me! Then Micah, it was like the race against time...I was thinking the whole time, "This baby is going to come on Christmas, or I'll be in the hospital on Christmas...I just know it!" But then sure enough, he came December 22nd and was perfectly healthy, meaning we'd be home by Christmas Eve...He was great to mommy then and always is now...he's such an easy child! haha.

Brad and I realized how amazing our 2 kids are, and all of these memories of having babies brought us to thinking, why shouldn't we have another? We would absolutely love a baby in the house, the kids are older so it's not like adding another like we did last time with Micah, we are financially stable, everything would just be perfect to add another little addition to the family! Which is why I was thrilled to tell Brad at the end of July that I was pregnant with our third baby! Unfortunately, God's plan did not involve our 3rd child at this exact moment in time and I miscarried in August. This really was my first devestating blow as a mother. We hadn't told the kids yet of the baby, which I'm still not sure made telling them why mommy was crying easier or harder. We had to explain to them that they were supposed to have a brother or sister, but the baby decided to stay with God instead. I think they understood it as best they could, but really just didn't want to see mommy and daddy crying anymore. But hey, when you're a parent, you have to be resilient. And who could stay sad for so long with two wonderful kids at home? I mean, I would love to have another baby and of course we will keep trying, but if that's not God's will, then it just isn't! He has completely blessed us more than we deserve with our 2 wonderful children and I am content knowing that we have our Jessica Brianne and Micah Parker! But we are actively trying to conceive and just leaving it in God's hands to see what happens over the next few months! We have years to try so are we are trying to think that and stay positive!

So other than the difficulties that come from the miscarriage, we're trying to move on and be "normal" again. I use quotations because really, nothing is normal for us...Something weird is always going on! I love it! Our dog decided to go outside and get herself pregnant one day (knew we should've gotten her fixed!). Well, she was acting a little funny, so we decided to take her to the vet to see what was up, AH puppies! haha....so she had her puppies...ALL 8 OF THEM. Of course Jessica and Micah wanted to keep all of them...and had names for all of them (weird ones, I can't even remember half of them....one was purple, one was bacon...just ODD). Brad and I HAD to have a "puppy intervention"!!! They were heartbroken when they found out that they couldn't keep all the dogs and that there were other families around that really need good dogs just like we had, and that Murphy is a good mommy so people will like having puppies like her. I think they were very happy to be able to find homes for them. I love knowing that they're happy making other people happy. We decided that the puppies were FREE to a good home (hey-who am I kidding, I wasn't in this to make money off of puppies!). The kids actually wanted to make sure all of the puppies homes were good...so we had to be inspectors while the ad was in the newspaper and look at homes and homelife...So in the end, all 8 puppies found good homes...4 of which are in our own little neighborhood, so they will be able to play with Toby and Murphy! We definitely just don't have the room (or energy) to add another puppy like Murph to our family!!!! haha.

Something else that has happened recently is the swine flu hitting our family! I guess Jessica picked it up from one of her classmates and brought it back here...Really lovely! For Brad and I, it was okay. Brad was only home from work for one Friday and then the weekend before his fever was gone and he was able to return, same for me. But because of Jessica and Micah being under 5, the doctors were extremely cautious about treating them (which is good for me to hear!). They were on medication for their symptoms and stayed home in bed for a week...We are still getting over some of the sniffles and coughs, but other than that...Everyone is just fine!!!!

Another piece of exciting news in our family is ME GOING BACK TO WORK!!!! Yes-That's right!!!! Micah will be going to a daycare that meets 3 days a week. It was just opened in our area. It's actual preschool teachers that have decided to open up their own little thing. Since they will be there to teach them, instead of going to the regular daycare that they just play with the kids, it's actually like a jumpstart to school, which I think is totally awesome! They will be learning a lot to do with reading and writing. With both kids out of the house 3 days a week, I decided that there is really no reason for me to be at home, but I have to ease back into going to work! Since I can't work fulltime at a preschool just yet, instead I'm going to be assisting in a kindergarten class 3 days a week. It'll be awesome to start working again, and hopefully soon I can go back to teaching unless I decide to have another baby haha! But the extra money definitely won't hurt us!

I guess it's time to add a few pictures of the haps:

Babies playing in the sand!!!!!!

I wonder if this picture looks familiar to any of you!?

Wow, it's been MONTHS!!! I can't believe it! Let me fill you in a bit!!!

*Jessica Brianne is doing so well, I love her to pieces. She's becoming such a great helper around the house. She loves to cook and clean with mommy, though she still remains her daddy's girl! I can't believe she's going to be 2 and 1/2 already come June! She's getting tall...But I think the biggest thing is how long her hair is getting, she says she never wants to cut it and wants it to grow to the floor I don't know about that one!!! She is still doing her ballet lessons (which she absolutely loves!) and has even started voice lessons (also loves!)--She comes home after all of her practices and sings us cute songs, and she's got a good voice for her age! She's starting soccer up soon, so she definitely has a busy schedule. She goes to her little classes 3 days a week...She's a very smart cookie

*Micah Parker- Oh My Lord! This child is such a kick! He'll be 18 months old June 22, I can't believe that my LITTLEST BABY is already that big! He is just like his big sister-he follows her everywhere and tries to do the "big girl" things that she does. Jessica and him really are best friends! He's still my little man, choosing me over daddy (teehee). He tries and helps best he can with everything...He loves the dogs! He's very opinionated and energetic...Now that he's walking really well, he's ALL OVER THE PLACE!

*Brad and I are doing really well! We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary on April 13. It's hard to believe all that has happened in the passed 5 years! I can definitely tell you that neither of us expected to be where we are right now when we first got married! If you asked us, we'd have probably said we plan to have kids around age 30, but space them apart...Just focus on each other and work for a while...man has that changed, but neither of us can complain!

Pretty much, I love my life and everyone in it

Wow---it's been FOREVER!!!!!

My mom's pregnancy is going well...They are checking on her a lot still since she's older, and it seems everything is right on track, so she is really lucky!! I'm so excited even though she's all the way down in Florida!

Right now we are just trying to survive the rest of winter....So excited for the warm. The kids enjoyed playing in the snow for the first couple of snow falls, but I can see why it's getting old. Plus, Jessica has been bringing home tons of little colds or BIGGER viruses and such from all her play dates and different activities she does...Then Micah gets it, then usually I'm next, then after that it's Brad. Soo...needless to say, SUMMER...WHERE ARE YOU!?

I have an announcement :)

No-I'm not pregnant...and I'll actually say THANK GOD for that! While the thought of another baby would be awesome, I'm just not ready and I was crazy for ever thinking that I wanted a 3rd so close to my 2 handfuls! They are such little rascals...Anyways...where was I? (I'm so good at getting side tracked!)

I'm not pregnant, but my mom is!

Yup, that's right- I'm going to be a sister for the 6th time!!! I can't believe it...My youngest sister, Amber, will be 3 in April, so it's not like it was this HUGE gap between the last kid and this one, but we figured my parents were done. Heck, my mom thought she was going through menopause and she found out she was pregnant! HAHA. It isn't a shock, momma isn't too old...She got married and had me pretty young so it's not like she's 70.

I'm so incredibly excited...They want the sex to be a surprise. The baby is due in late Spring, early summer and they are definitely watching for complications since my mom is older than 40. I think it is so nice that my parents are still willing to bring kids into the world since God is giving them the ability to have children still since many women lose that privilige around my mom's age! Part of me still thinks it's kinda weird though that my kids will have an aunt/uncle that is younger than them!

AH...I'm just so happy
